Lewiston-Porter Middle School represents the ideals of middle level education in exemplary fashion.  our philosophy and structure as a school are centered around the developmental needs of young adolescents.  Here, students experience a highly challenging intellectual environment that is also very nurturing and supportive.

In addition, we offer a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to help ensure that our learners feel both challenged and connected to their school community.

The Middle School staff is highly professional and provides students with a very rich and exceptional middle level experience, both in the classroom and in the middle school community.  The centerpiece of student involvement, our Student Council, helps to create a strong school spirit that is generated through numerous school activities.

Our school is a vibrant, dynamic place, alive with the excitement of this age group and the spirit of shared intellectual and personal growth.  We are part of a community that has high expectations for students and provides equal support for them as they move through early adolescence.  The combination makes for a nearly ideal blend of structure, program, resources and commitment so that every student can be successful in his or her own unique way.
