Greetings from G-8! I am Mrs. Laurie Muto and I have enjoyed the excitement of teaching grade one students for over 29 years! I began my career as a Teacher of the Hearing Impaired and a Speech Therapist, and for many years I've enjoyed teaching in a grade one classroom. I look forward to continuing my work with grade one students during the 2011-2012 school year here at Lewiston-Porter. I encourage students to discover the power of literacy and the absolute joy of learning.
My family includes my husband, Guy, and our daughters, Pauline and Alexandra. Pauline recently graduated from the University of Rochester and Alex is a sophomore at the College of Wooster in Ohio. Our family has two cairn terrier puppies named Brando and Teddy. They keep us very busy!
I hope you contact me whenever you have questions regarding your child's grade one learning experiences. I welcome parent input, and I look forward to a very successful 2011-2012 school year.
