Hello! I am Mrs. Fernandez and this is my fifth year teaching in the Lewiston-Porter School District. I am very happy to be here!!!! I have been teaching for 10 years.The looping program  has been an amazing journey. I have my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Niagara University and I am permanently certified. I love teaching kindergarten. I will be witness to every child growing in leaps and bounds throughout the year!

I have three children of my own that have successfully gone through the school system-two have completed college and one is in his sophmore year. Being a parent and teacher has fostered the importance of good home/school communication. I know the needs of the teacher and I am also sensitive and aware of the needs of the parent. Together we will have a great year.

My mottos in class are "Treat others the way you want to be treated" and "To have a friend you have to be a friend". With those ideas in mind I teach our children to love and respect each other everyday and we will have a great working and learning environment. Thank you for giving them to me and allowing me to share in their lives as they grow and learn.
