Before and After-School Tutorial Program
The Intermediate Education Center Tutorial Program is time a teacher spends out of a regular school day, either in the morning before school or in the afternoon after school, with an individual student or small groups of students for additional instruction.
Each teacher decides what type of tutorial program is best for his or her class and does not teach anything new, but reviews lessons previously taught. Notification slips for parental approval are sent home with the students who are asked to participate in a morning or after-school lesson.
Transportation home is provided after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY, and after school tutorial buses leave the school at 4:00 pm. Parents can also provide transportation to and after school, and are required to sign their child in and out at the office when dropping them off or picking them up from school.
