The Girls on the Run program consists of approximately 18 lessons, meeting two times a week for 90 minute practices. Each lesson has activity components and a work out. At the end of each practice the girls receive a snack from the program. The program concludes with a 5k run at UB North Campus the first Sunday in June. Each girl runs with a buddy (adult) of their choice or a buddy provided by the program to help encourage them through the race. The program focuses on setting goals, teamwork, and girl power! The program starts at the end of March each year. Consider signing up next year!
