District Announcements

  • The Lewiston-Porter Central School District and the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Partners in Education (PIE), IEC Multi-Age, K-Kids and Builders Club have initiated a Hurricane Harvey/Irma Relief Effort to accept and distribute donations. Donations that are needed include canned/dry foods, toiletries, new school clothes and monetary donations. The donations will be shipped to Clear Creek Independent School District in Clear Creek, Texas Parkside Elementary School, Naples, Florida and Pembroke Pines Public School, Pembroke, Florida. All schools have donation boxes placed in lobby areas and, for the Lewiston-Porter homecoming football game (9/29/17) and dance (9/30/17), we are asking all attendees to donate an item to support this important and critical relief effort. Donations will be accepted until Sept. 30 at any of our school buildings and our district office. All donations will be shipped the first week of October. Please join in the effort and together we can AIM HIGHER to make a difference.
