  • SCHOOL CLOSINGS
Read about School Closing Procedures here.  To view a list of current school closings, visit WGRZ Channel 2, WIVB Channel 4 or WKBW Channel 7.

Please note that for the 2015-2016 school year, the Lewiston-Porter Central School District has initiated one and two hour delays to the start of the school day.  In those instances of extreme cold or inclement weather where conditions are improving and roads are expected to be cleared in a timely fashion, we may opt for a one or a two hour delay to the start of the school day at both the elementary and secondary levels.  In either case, the child's bus will arrive one hour or two hours, depending on the option selected by the district, after their normal pick up time.  The school day will commence once all students are in their respective buildings.  In either case, a one or two hour delayed start, dismissal will be at the normal time.
