    The Lewiston-Porter Central School District 2022-2023 Budget Vote & Board Election will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in the Multi-Purpose Room, Community Resource Center between the hours of 7:00 am and 8:00 pm.

    LEGAL NOTICE:

    The Legal Notice regarding the Annual Notice, Budget Vote & Election is published in the Niagara Gazette and Business First. For your reference, it is posted here.

    VOTER ELIGIBILITY

    To qualify as a voter, a person must be:

    • a citizen of the United States
    • at least 18 years old
    • a resident of Lewiston-Porter Central School District for at least 30 days prior to May 18, 2021.
      (Education Law § 2012)

    No prior registration is required and residents do not have to be registered voters. (Education Law § 2012). But if you are interested in registering to vote for other elections that do require registration, you can register to vote at the Niagara County Board of Elections. 

    ABSENTEE BALLOTS/MILITARY BALLOTS

    To request an absentee ballot to vote, please complete the Absentee Ballot Application. Completed ballot applications must be received at the office of the District Clerk no later than 5:00 pm on May 17, 2022.

    To request a military ballot to vote, please complete the Military Ballot Application. Completed ballot applications must be received at the office of the District office no later than 5:00 pm on April 21, 2022; by mail, by fax at 716-286-7859, or by email at mbarile@lew-port.com.
