Lynda Johnson Mahoney and Wendy Wood ( Class of 68 ) are continuing the work of Grace Austin Crewe who spent years collecting obituaries of Lew-Port graduates and Staff, which have been organized by graduating year and Staff position. Lynda and Wendy are continuing to update this search.

They are looking for volunteers from each Lew-Port class to find information ( obituaries, date, and / or place of death ) to be forwarded to a new Web Site: Lew-Port Genealogy @ Yahoo.com.

If you would like to volunteer, you will get a list of your entire class, research on who has passed, and active search info  for obituaries on deceased class members. Also, if you are in possession of your class’s roster / membership it would be appreciated if you could send that to Wendy and Lynda at the above mentioned web site. Suggested research sites include the Lew-Port Genealogy Binder in the Lewiston Library, Niagara Falls Gazette  Obituary archive, Legacy.com, and Dignity.com.
