Lewiston-Porter International Program
Lewiston-Porter’s International Program is one of a kind and no other public school district has committed the personnel and resources to support an international program like the one Lewiston-Porter offers.
Our program is multi-faceted and in additional to the district being certified to issue F-1 visas to international students seeking to study in the United States, we also welcome J-1 visa exchange students and offer several reciprocal short-term exchanges with partner schools in China, Germany and Turkey, as well as offering a variety of international experiences abroad to our students.
Lewiston-Porter is SEVIS certified to issue F-1 visas to incoming international students from around the world. From the inception of the program in 2004, Lewiston-Porter’s international program has continued to grow. Each year our acceptance of international students increases and our students go on to continue their education at leading colleges and universities across the United States.
Lewiston-Porter High School has partnered with Niagara University, a highly ranked private, Catholic university located less than 10 miles from Lewiston-Porter’s campus. International students coming to the United States on an F-1 visa, who choose to study at Lewiston-Porter High School live in a student residence hall on Niagara University’s campus and have the opportunity to experience collegiate life first hand while attending Lewiston-Porter. Lewiston-Porter and Niagara University’s unique Residence Agreement provides students a once in a lifetime experience, where they learn and grow academically and socially in a safe and nurturing environment.
Lewiston-Porter has dedicated administration, faculty and staff who are committed to providing international students with rigorous and challenging curriculum, while providing the resources necessary for them to be successful.
